- A private, nonprofit corporation established in 1992, CMTC is affiliated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and is part of the Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Program. The MEP Program contains 51 centers across the U.S. to serve Manufacturing and Research & Development communities.
CMTC is the MEP Center for the State of California.
Utilizing staff expertise and collaborative partnerships, CMTC enhances operational performance and productivity, drives new product development, market expansion, and technology adoption. CMTC serves the unique needs and challenges of small and medium-sized manufacturers through a broad array of services which improve the top and bottom line.
CMTC is the Leader of California’s Manufacturing Network, serving more than 1,500 manufacturers and R & D businesses annually, generating significant positive financial impacts for our clients and for the public good in California.
