Our patented Sterilis Solutions Remediator processes most forms of Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) by exposing the waste load to high-temperature steam. During sterilization, we elevate the steam to high pressures to create a sterile environment, ensuring all pathogens are killed. The sterilized material then undergoes a grinding process that renders the entire waste load unrecognizable and reduces the waste volume by up to 80%. The shredded waste is collected in a drawstring bag, allowing easy removal from the system and disposal into the solid waste stream or placement in an advanced recycling program. The Remediator is drastically reducing carbon emissions as a proven alternative to the decades-old method of hauling and landfill or incineration. For regulatory/compliance purposes, our cloud-based software automatically stores necessary documentation. The Sterilis Solutions Remediator has received an ACT label and supports My Green Lab’s mission to build a global culture of sustainability in science.
