The Biomedical Manufacturing Network offers engineering and business advising to biomedical companies. These services include business and financial plan review; review of presentations for investors/partners/first customers; advice on IP and fundraising (equity/debt/SBIR/STTR); review of CAD modeling and proof of concept models; review of requirements document, engineering drawings, and bill of materials; evaluation of client prototypes for mechanical performance; review of materials and components, traceability, and risk analysis; review of design for manufacturing and production processes; evaluation of production parts and assemblies; and connections to component and service providers and assistance with contract manufacturing organizations.
